Authore: PenelopeUpdate:May 21,2025

As Invincible: Season 3 approaches, Prime Video has unveiled an exciting new roster of voice actors, including Aaron Paul as Powerplex, John DiMaggio as The Elephant, and Simu Liu as Multi-Paul, Dupli-Kate’s brother. However, the most intriguing additions to the cast are Jonathan Banks and Doug Bradley, whose characters remain a mystery, adding to the anticipation and speculation about the upcoming season.

Prime Video's decision to keep these roles under wraps suggests major plot developments on the horizon. Fans are eager to uncover which characters Banks and Bradley will portray, and there's also curiosity about Christian Convery's character, Oliver Grayson, whose rapid aging is set to play a significant role this season. Here's a closer look at the new characters we expect to see and their potential impact on the series.

Warning: some basic plot spoilers for the Invincible comic ahead!

PlayJonathan Banks as Conquest --------------------------

Jonathan Banks, renowned for his role in Breaking Bad, joins the cast of Invincible: Season 3. While his character hasn't been officially announced, speculation points towards him voicing Conquest, a formidable Viltrumite warrior introduced in Invincible #61. Known for his battle scars and unmatched strength, Conquest arrives on Earth with a dire ultimatum from the Viltrumite Empire: Invincible must conquer his homeworld, or Conquest will eliminate him and take over.

Season 2 set the stage for this epic showdown as Mark Grayson accepted his father's mantle as Earth's potential conqueror. In Season 3, fans can expect a gripping one-man stand as Mark faces off against the seasoned Viltrumite, despite his youth and inexperience.

Who Is Doug Bradley Playing in Invincible Season 3?

With Jonathan Banks likely playing Conquest, the mystery surrounding Doug Bradley's role deepens. Known for his chilling portrayal of Pinhead in the Hellraiser series, Bradley is poised to voice another compelling villain. Two likely candidates are Dinosaurus and Grand Regent Thragg.

Dinosaurus, debuting in Invincible #68, is an eco-warrior with a mission to heal the world from human-caused damage. His plan to destroy Las Vegas highlights his radical approach. Bradley's distinctive voice could add depth to this unique character, whose motives, though extreme, resonate with Invincible.

Alternatively, Bradley might voice Grand Regent Thragg, the ultimate antagonist of the Invincible saga. Introduced in Invincible #11, Thragg is the ruler of the Viltrumite Empire, a seasoned warrior with thousands of years of combat experience. His presence looms large over the series, and Bradley's menacing tone would be perfect for such a pivotal villain.

PlayChristian Convery’s Oliver Grayson -----------------------------------

Season 2 introduced Oliver Grayson, Mark's half-brother, born to Nolan and a Thraxan partner. With his unique half-Thraxan, half-Viltrumite heritage, Oliver ages at an accelerated rate, appearing as a toddler in Season 2 despite being only a few months old. In Season 3, portrayed by Christian Convery, Oliver will resemble a preteen, showcasing his rapid growth and emerging powers.

Oliver's journey as Kid Omni-Man, following in the footsteps of his father and brother, will be a central storyline. His powers manifest much earlier than Mark's, adding a new dynamic to the series. Mark must navigate his role as a mentor to Oliver while grappling with the responsibilities and dangers of being Invincible.

In addition to these exciting developments, the Invincible universe continues to expand with the upcoming comic prequel spinoff, Invincible: Battle Beast, which is among IGN's most anticipated new comics of 2025.
