The team is further bolstered by the presence of Neill Blomkamp, the acclaimed director of District 9 and Chappie, who serves as Gunzilla's chief creative officer and co-founder.

Under the new entity, Game Informer Inc., the website, which boasts over 30 years of history, is back online and ready to continue its legacy. The team has prepared "dozens" of new reviews for games released during their hiatus and is set to unveil their Best of 2024 awards.
