How to get a Mount in Rune Slayer

Authore: LeoUpdate:Apr 18,2025

*Rune Slayer* offers a rich MMORPG experience within the *Roblox* platform, complete with quests like "Kill 10 X," crafting, dungeons, and even fishing. A key feature of any MMORPG is the ability to ride a mount, and *Rune Slayer* doesn't disappoint in this aspect. While the game doesn't explicitly guide players on how to acquire a mount, we're here to walk you through the process step-by-step.

Before You Get a Mount

Before you can start exploring *Rune Slayer*'s world on a mount, you need to meet a couple of prerequisites:

  • Reach Level 20: This shouldn't take more than a few hours (around 5-6 hours, or even less if you're playing with friends). Focus on completing Quests, Jobs, and defeating mobs to level up quickly.
  • Tame a Pet: You'll receive a quest that introduces you to pet taming. Here's how it works:
    • Find an animal you want to tame (e.g., Deer, Wolf, Spider).
    • Attack it once.
    • Hold a food item that the animal likes (Apples for Deer, Raw Deer Meat for Wolves).
    • A heart will appear above the animal's head, indicating the taming attempt.
    • If the heart grows fully, the animal will become your pet. If it turns black, the attempt fails, but don't worry—just try with another animal.

Once you've reached level 20 and tamed a pet, you're ready to proceed to the next step.

Finish the Mount Quest

Upon reaching level 20, head to **Jimmy the Stable Master** in Wayshire. He'll offer you a quest called "Jimmy's Delivery," where you need to deliver a package to the Stable Master in Ashenshire. Accept the quest and head north through Wayshire's northern entrance. Follow the road and climb over the hill into **Greatwood Forest**. Be cautious as the mobs here can be challenging. Continue north until you reach **Ashenshire**, recognizable by the large houses built on top of trees.

Find a rope to climb up to Ashenshire. Once you're up, the first NPC you'll see is **Madonna the Stable Master**. There won't be a quest marker above her, so approach her and select "I have a package for you." After handing over the package, return to Wayshire by backtracking south.

Upon your return, speak to **Jimmy the Stable Master** again (he'll have an exclamation mark above his head). He'll reward you with a **Saddle**, which won't appear in your inventory to prevent accidental loss or sale.

How to Mount Your Pet in Rune Slayer

With the saddle acquired, summon your pet by holding "T". Approach your pet, and you'll see the "Mount" option. Press "E" to mount your pet. This method works for all mountable pets in the game.
