Marvel Studios has unveiled the much-anticipated trailer for Ironheart, the latest addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) set to stream on Disney+. Dominique Thorne returns as the titular armored superhero, Riri Williams, who made her cinematic debut in 2022's Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. Alongside Thorne, Anthony Ramos joins the cast as Parker Robbins, better known as The Hood. The trailer offers a glimpse into the series, showcasing Riri's transformation into a standalone superhero after her previous supporting role in the MCU.

In the series, Parker Robbins/The Hood initially appears as a mentor figure to Riri, guiding her to unlock her full potential. However, the trailer hints at deeper, more complex motives behind his character. Ironheart, executive produced by Ryan Coogler, is set to premiere with a three-episode launch on June 24 at 6pm PT/9pm ET exclusively on Disney+.

The narrative follows Riri as she reflects on her involvement in the events of Wakanda Forever as an "internship abroad." Her journey takes a dramatic turn after being expelled from MIT, leading to a pivotal moment where The Hood challenges her with the ultimatum: "Anyone who has accomplished anything has to do questionable things. Are you in or out?" The trailer showcases thrilling action sequences, including Riri suiting up as Ironheart, soaring through the skies, and impressively grounding herself to punch a truck, sending it flying overhead in a spectacular display of her powers.
