Tom Warren, a journalist from The Verge, had previously hinted at an April release window, and sources from PlayStation Inside have now solidified the April 17 launch date for the port. Billbil-kun also shed light on the various PS5 editions that will be available.
The game will offer at least two different physical editions, with pre-orders opening on March 25. The standard edition will be priced at $70, while the premium edition will cost $100. Those who opt for the premium edition will enjoy early access, allowing them to start playing on April 15.
Last year, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle was a major direct release on Game Pass and was warmly received by the gaming community. Given the recent shifts in Xbox's strategy, it's no surprise to see such a swift rollout of a PS5 version.
