HoYoverse's Zenless Zone Zero continues to dominate the mobile gaming scene, especially with the release of its version 1.4 update, aptly named "And the Starfall came." This update has propelled the game to new heights, achieving a staggering $8.6 million in daily player spending on mobile devices alone. This surpasses the previous record set at the game's launch in July 2024.
According to data from AppMagic, Zenless Zone Zero's total revenue on mobile platforms has now exceeded $265 million. The 1.4 update introduced exciting new agents, including Hoshimi Miyabi and Asaba Harumasa, alongside enhancements to game mechanics, fresh locations, and new modes. These additions have significantly boosted player engagement and spending.

A notable feature of the update was the free availability of Asaba Harumasa to all players, which served as a promotional move. However, it was the banner featuring Hoshimi Miyabi that played a pivotal role in driving the game's record-breaking revenue.
The 1.4 update has been exceptionally successful in maintaining player interest over an extended period. Typically, player spending tends to decline a week following an update release. However, this time, revenues consistently exceeded $1 million per day for over 11 consecutive days, and even maintained over $500,000 two weeks post-update.
Despite its impressive performance, Zenless Zone Zero still trails behind HoYoverse's flagship titles, Genshin Impact and Honkai: Star Rail, in terms of revenue and player base.
