Easter eggs and secret messages are a staple in many ongoing games, and *Helldivers 2* is no exception. Amid an intense, ongoing conflict with the Illuminate, players are meticulously analyzing the game's messages for hidden details.

If you're not up to speed with the narrative in *Helldivers 2*, here's a quick recap: Developer Arrowhead has reintroduced the Illuminate, pushing the boundaries of galactic warfare as the latest threat to Super Earth. The eerie foe is using a massive black hole to slowly consume entire planets, moving from Angel's Venture to Moradesh. Ironically, this black hole was initially created by Super Earth on Meridian in an attempt to eradicate a Terminid Super Colony. Arrowhead's knack for expanding on the outcomes of galactic campaigns has led to this slow but relentless advance of the black hole towards Super Earth.

As Moradesh evacuates, *Helldivers* are eagerly anticipating the next phase of this cataclysmic campaign. Meanwhile, some players are delving into the evacuation orders, searching for hidden meanings in the messages broadcast by Arrowhead.

Reddit user Pinglyadya shared an image of what appears to be an egg hidden in the Moradesh videos. In the comments, they further analyzed potential Morse code strings, breaking them down into dots and dashes, resulting in several codes: "045a5, 06efbc, e1b5f0 then 21232. We don't know what this is the code to but have fun."

The "06EFBC" code garnered attention in another thread, as it might correspond to the hex code for a shade of teal called Last Straw, hinting at something ominous. While nothing concrete has emerged beyond this, some fans are convinced there's more to these messages.

It's not the first time players have searched for secrets in Arrowhead's updates. With the Meridian Singularity slowly approaching Super Earth, one wonders if *Helldivers* have the time to spare for such pursuits.

Following the destruction of Moradesh, Arrowhead issued a new Major Order for players, tasking them with defending planets to allow Super Earth to construct a Penrose Energy Siphon and achieve a "one-time reduction" in Dark Energy Accumulation. Hopefully, this can halt the giant tear in space that's slowly encroaching on everything the *Helldivers* hold dear, and perhaps even reveal more secret messages.

This is all part of *Helldivers 2*'s ongoing, community-driven Galactic War, which has captivated the game's community for over a year. The Illuminate invaded in December, introducing new enemies and brand new Super Earth colonies, including the game's first urban environments. These city streets are filled with innocent civilians, mind-controlled by the Illuminate and known as the Voteless by Super Earth. These unfortunate souls are little more than zombies, intent on tearing players limb from limb.
