"Gully Gangs: 4v4 Street Cricket Multiplayer Now in Open Beta on Android"

In India, playing cricket in the narrow alleys, known as gullies, is often considered more enjoyable than playing on a traditional field. Capturing this unique cultural experience, an indie Indian studio called 5th Ocean Studios has launched their latest cricket game, Gully Gangs: Street Cricket, into Open Beta on Android.

Not Your Typical Cricket Simulation

Gully Gangs: Street Cricket introduces a refreshing twist to cricket gaming with its 4v4 multiplayer format. Set in the vibrant, bustling Indian gullies, this game offers an authentic street cricket experience. Players can expect rooftop catches, navigating around scooters, and even dealing with nosy neighbors complaining about broken windows. Adding to the fun, the game supports 1v1 matches as well.

The game allows for engaging interactions through power moves and voice chat, enabling players to communicate, sledge opponents, drop emojis during matches, and even execute some cheeky tricks. The settings are filled with the lively atmosphere of Indian neighborhoods, complete with broken stumps, makeshift pitches, and unpredictable ball bounces off uneven walls.

Customization is a key feature, offering players the chance to create and style their gang with unique outfits and unlockable skins, adding a personal touch to the gaming experience.

Currently in Open Beta, 5th Ocean Studios has ambitious plans for Gully Gangs: Street Cricket. Upcoming updates will include new street maps, additional outfits, regular events, clan wars, and an esports mode. The game will also feature leaderboards, daily and weekly challenges, and exciting gang vs. gang confrontations.

While the game is exclusively available on Android at the moment, the studio is gearing up to expand to iOS and Steam. Full controller support and cross-platform play are also on the horizon. To dive into the action, players can download Gully Gangs: Street Cricket from the Google Play Store.
