Get ready, fans of tactical RPGs! Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium is on the brink of its global launch, and MICA Team (Sunborn Network) is pulling back the curtain with exciting new details. They've released a comprehensive Q&A video that tackles nearly every question players have been eager to have answered.
Publisher Complications
The game's rollout is a bit complex due to different publishers. Depending on your region, you'll be playing on either Darkwinter (a Sunborn subsidiary) or Haoplay servers. The game content remains the same across both, but cross-server play isn't available. Darkwinter will manage its own PC launcher, whereas Haoplay's version will be accessible via Steam.
Global Launch Schedule
Unlike the Chinese version, the global schedule won't kick off with the same initial event. MICA Team is planning to skip some events from the Chinese version that need further story development, echoing the strategy used by Azur Lane Global at its launch. The global server will start with the 'Sojourners of the Glass Island' event, offering the complete two-part story right from the start. There's a possibility that these skipped events might be added later on.
Classic Skins and Crossovers
Fan-favorite skins are making a comeback, with Groza’s iconic 'Sangria Succulent' skin returning. MICA Team is also considering more classic skins based on player feedback. Excitingly, potential crossovers have been hinted at, including collaborations with Neural Cloud and Gundam.
