Ghostrunner Creators Unveil New Game Image

One More Level, the masterminds behind the thrilling Ghostrunner series, have just dropped a tantalizing new image that's got the gaming world buzzing. If you're a fan of the cyberpunk action that defined Ghostrunner, where a single sword strike can be the difference between life and death, you're in for a treat. Both installments of Ghostrunner were critically acclaimed, with the first game scoring an impressive 81% and 79% on average, and the sequel not far behind at 80% and 76%.

The studio is currently juggling two exciting projects: Cyber Slash and Projekt Swift. The newly unveiled image is most likely a sneak peek into Cyber Slash, considering Projekt Swift isn't slated for release until 2028.

Cyber Slash promises to transport players back to the first half of the 19th century, but with a twist. The game will offer an alternate take on the Napoleonic era, presenting an epic and dark reimagining of historical events. Players will step into the shoes of legendary heroes as they battle unknown forces and confront terrifying threats.

The gameplay is set to be as challenging and action-packed as fans have come to expect from One More Level. While it will distance itself from the traditional Souls-like formula, elements such as parrying and targeting weak points will remain crucial. What's more, the protagonist will undergo mutations throughout the game, adding a unique layer of evolution to the experience.
