Yes, Fuecoco can indeed be Shiny in Pokemon GO. The odds of encountering a Shiny Fuecoco during the Community Day are boosted to 1 in 25, compared to the usual 1 in 512. While it's not guaranteed every time, with enough persistence, you're likely to encounter a Shiny Fuecoco within the event's three-hour window.

Fuecoco evolves into Crocalor and then Skeledirge, requiring 25 and 100 Fuecoco Candies respectively. The Community Day not only makes it easier to collect these Candies but also offers an exclusive move for Skeledirge.

Skeledirge Featured Attack

Evolving a Fuecoco into Crocalor during the Community Day, or up to a week after, allows the resulting Skeledirge to learn the Charged Attack, Blast Burn, which is not typically part of its moveset.

Torch Song Update

Additionally, Skeledirge can learn Torch Song, a Charged Attack that boosts its Attack stat by one stage in battles while dealing damage, available during and after the Community Day.

During the Fuecoco Community Day in Pokemon GO, and until 10:00 PM on March 8, you can take advantage of the following bonuses:

300% Stardust when catching Pokemon
Double the catch Candy
Double the chance for Trainers Level 31+ to get XL Candy when catching Pokemon
Lure Modules last for three hours instead of 30 minutes
Incenses last for three hours instead of 60 minutes
A "surprise" that occurs when you take snapshots
Ability to conduct two Special Trades per day instead of one
