Fortnite's new "Reload" mode brings back classic maps with a modern twist! This fast-paced mode throws 40 players onto a smaller map featuring iconic locations like Tilted Towers and Retail Row. Prepare for nostalgic battles!
What's in Reload Mode?
Reload mode offers intense squad-based combat. A full squad wipe means elimination; there are no second chances. This applies to both Battle Royale and Zero Build modes.
The action is focused on a compact island, removing vehicles but including unvaulted weapons like the Revolver, Tactical Shotgun, Lever Action Shotgun, Rocket Launcher, and Grappler. Victory Crowns remain, and reboots provide a common Assault Rifle (plus building materials in Build mode). A dynamic Reboot Timer, starting at 30 seconds and increasing to 40, adds to the pressure, but eliminating enemies reduces this timer.
Elimination and Rewards
Eliminated players drop Small Shield Potions, ammo, and building materials (in Build mode), keeping the fight intense and resource-driven.
Complete introductory quests for substantial XP rewards:
- 3 quests: Digital Dogfight Contrail
- 6 quests: Pool Cubes Wrap
- 9 quests: NaNa Bath Back Bling
- Victory Royale: The Rezzbrella Glider
