Charlie Cox's portrayal of Daredevil has triumphantly transitioned from Netflix to the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), sparking speculation about potential comebacks for other members of The Defenders. Notably, Finn Jones, who played Iron Fist in the Netflix series, has expressed his eagerness to return to the role. Jones last donned the mantle of Danny Rand in Season 2 of Iron Fist and in the crossover series The Defenders, where he teamed up with Daredevil/Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox), Luke Cage (Mike Colter), and Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter).
Despite mixed reviews of his performance, with some fans feeling that his take on Iron Fist didn't meet expectations, Jones remains hopeful. At the LaConve anime convention in Monterrey, NL, Mexico, he addressed the criticism head-on, stating, "There is a willingness for the fans to see that happen. There's a lot of willingness for the fans to see that not happen as well. I'm very aware of the critiques of the character and my role in it. My response to that is like, give me a f***ing chance, man. I'm here and I'm ready. I want to prove people wrong. So I would love to see that happen."
Daredevil's successful integration into the MCU, particularly with the upcoming series "Daredevil: Born Again," has reignited interest in the broader Defenders universe. This series serves as a direct continuation of the narrative established in the Netflix shows, which now form part of the official MCU canon on Disney+. The return of Jon Bernthal as The Punisher in "Daredevil: Born Again" further underscores the potential for other Defenders to make a comeback.

Recent reports suggest that Marvel is "exploring" the idea of bringing back The Defenders, which could open the door for characters like Iron Fist to re-enter the MCU. This development has fans buzzing about the possibilities of seeing their favorite characters once again, and perhaps giving Finn Jones the opportunity he seeks to redefine his portrayal of Danny Rand.
