Tin Man Games has just released Eye of the Dragon as part of their Fighting Fantasy Classics series, available now across all major digital platforms, including Android, iOS, and Steam for PC and Mac. If you're a fan of old-school dungeon crawls, this game is a nostalgic journey back to the classics.
This Is Its Official Digital Debut!
This marks the first digital release of Eye of the Dragon since its last print in 2010. Penned by Ian Livingstone, a co-creator of the Fighting Fantasy series, the book originally hit the shelves in 2005 as part of the Wizard Books revival. Interestingly, it traces its origins back to a mini-adventure featured in Dicing with Dragons. With this launch, Eye of the Dragon now proudly stands as the 19th entry in the Fighting Fantasy Classics collection.
In Eye of the Dragon, you find yourself navigating a treacherous maze beneath Darkwood Forest, teeming with monsters. Your ultimate goal? To locate the Golden Dragon, the most prized treasure in Allansia. The adventure begins in a tavern in Fang, where a mysterious stranger presents you with a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity - all you need to do is drink a potentially lethal potion.
As you delve into the dungeon, expect to encounter a myriad of dangers and rewards, from deadly traps and magical artifacts to scattered jewels and fierce creatures. You might even cross paths with an imprisoned dwarf who could play a crucial role in your journey.
Eye of the Dragon in Fighting Fantasy Classics Isn’t Just a Static Copy of the Book
Tin Man Games has enhanced the digital version with a host of player-friendly features. You can customize your experience with adjustable difficulty settings and opt for a Free Read mode to explore without engaging in combat. The game also includes an auto-mapping feature to prevent you from losing your way in the labyrinth, along with unlimited bookmarks and an adventure sheet that automatically tracks your stats and inventory.
Eye of the Dragon now joins other classics in the Fighting Fantasy series such as The Warlock of Firetop Mountain, Deathtrap Dungeon, Assassins of Allansia, The Port of Peril, and several others including Bloodbones, Forest of Doom, House of Hell, and Trial of Champions.
Tin Man Games is set to expand the series further with more titles in the pipeline. Don't miss out on this adventure; check out Fighting Fantasy Classics on the Google Play Store today. And while you're at it, don't forget to catch up on the latest news about Pikmin Bloom’s Earth Day Event.
