Disney Mirrorverse Announces EOS By The End Of This Year

Disney Mirrorverse, the mobile action RPG featuring a unique blend of Disney and Pixar characters, is shutting down. Developer Kabam announced the game's end-of-service (EOS) date as December 16th, 2024.

The game has already been removed from the Google Play Store, and all in-app purchases are disabled. Players have approximately three months remaining to enjoy the game before the servers are permanently closed.

A Look Back at Disney Mirrorverse

Launched in June 2022, Disney Mirrorverse offered a compelling premise: action-packed battles with reimagined Disney and Pixar heroes. However, a lengthy beta period and inconsistent content updates contributed to player attrition. The game's demanding shard collection system, requiring significant time investment or in-app purchases to fully develop characters, also proved challenging for many. Despite these drawbacks, the game boasted impressive character designs and high-quality graphics.

The recent addition of Cinderella as a playable character and new story content just a week before the EOS announcement surprised and disappointed many players. This isn't Kabam's first abrupt game closure; Transformers: Forged to Fight and a Marvel Contest of Champions spin-off also met similar fates.
