Castle Doombad is back! The popular tower defense strategy game, originally released in 2014, returns on Android as Castle Doombad: Free To Slay. Developed by Grumpyface Studios and published by Yodo1, this mobile release marks a significant comeback.

Grumpyface, known for hits like Steven Universe: Attack the Light and Teeny Titans, initially planned a single Castle Doombad remake. However, they wisely split the project: Free To Slay for mobile, and Castle Doombad Classic, a remastered version with updated content, for Nintendo Switch and Steam (releasing later this year). A sequel, Castle Doombad 2: Muahaha!, is also in development.

Castle Doombad: Free To Slay is free-to-play with ads and optional in-app purchases. Enjoy the complete original game with 70 stages, daily challenges, and endless modes. Unlock and upgrade over 30 traps and collect more than 100 items.

Customize your Dark Lord and his lair with unlockable cosmetics, known as ‘spoils.’ Combine these with equippable ‘Baddie Bonus’ perks for strategic advantages.
