DC Comics Unveils Batman: Hush 2 Preview Art

2025 is set to be a monumental year for DC Comics fans, with one of the most anticipated releases being the sequel to the iconic Batman: Hush saga, titled Batman: Hush 2. This eagerly awaited storyline, penned by the legendary Jim Lee, who serves as DC's President, Publisher, and Chief Creative Officer, will commence in Batman #158, slated for release in March. As a direct sequel to the critically acclaimed Hush story that ran from 2002 to 2004, Hush 2 promises to delve deeper into the dark world of Gotham.

While DC has explored numerous Hush-related narratives since the original saga concluded, Batman: Hush 2 marks the first time the original creative team has reunited. The acclaimed team includes writer Jeph Loeb, artist Jim Lee, inker Scott Williams, colorist Alex Sinclair, and letterer Richard Starkings. Hush 2 picks up from the recent epilogue featured in the Batman: Hush 20th Anniversary Edition, where Batman uncovers evidence that his childhood friend, Tommy Elliot, survived their last confrontation. This revelation sets the stage for a gripping new mystery, as Hush masterfully manipulates the Dark Knight's closest allies and fiercest enemies.

The Hush 2 storyline will unfold across Batman #158-163, with the first issue hitting stores on March 26. Following the conclusion of Hush 2, DC plans to relaunch the Batman series with a new #1 issue and a fresh costume, ushering in a new era under the creative direction of writer Matt Fraction and artist Jorge Jimenez.
