Crashlands 2 has just unveiled its major update, version 1.1, and Butterscotch Shenanigans, the game's creators, have listened closely to the community. This update brings back beloved features from the original Crashlands and introduces fresh challenges and content for players to dive into.
What’s in Store in Crashlands 2 Update 1.1?
Introducing Legend Mode, a step up from the already tough Challenge Mode. In this mode, enemies on Woanope are not only faster and stronger but also boast significantly increased health points. Conversely, Flux Dabes is more vulnerable than ever. While there are no new achievements specifically for Legend Mode, conquering it will automatically unlock all achievements from lower difficulty levels.
For a more relaxed experience, Explorer Mode has been added. This mode is perfect for players who prefer to focus on farming mushrooms, building charming homes, and fishing without the constant threat of combat. It significantly reduces the combat intensity, allowing you to immerse yourself in the story, decorate your base, and interact with the quirky characters of Crashlands 2.
The most anticipated feature from the original game, The Compendium, makes a triumphant return. Responding to player feedback, The Compendium now meticulously tracks everything Flux discovers, including the number of pets, recipes, and items left to collect to reach your goals.
Pets also got a bit of an upgrade
With Update 1.1, pets in Crashlands 2 have become more than just companions. They now actively participate in battles and come equipped with unique abilities that can be activated every 20 seconds, enhancing your combat strategy.
Gear crafting has been enriched with more variety, featuring random bonus stats when crafting armor. The update also includes a range of new gadgets, weapons, and trinkets, giving players more options to customize their gameplay experience.
Quality of life improvements are abundant in this update. Players can now build on a wider variety of terrains, customize the location of their home teleporter, and adjust the darkness of night to suit their preferences.
Crashlands 2 is available on the Google Play Store and was initially launched on April 10th. This latest patch demonstrates Butterscotch Shenanigans' commitment to responding to player feedback and enhancing the gaming experience.
