The Last of Us Complete not only includes both mainline stories but also all the bonus content released over the years. This includes the Left Behind Ellie-focused prequel DLC, as well as The Last of Us Part 2’s No Return and Lost Levels content. For those intrigued by the HBO TV series starring Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey, yet to explore the original games, this digital bundle is priced at $99.99.

In a PlayStation.Blog post, Naughty Dog Head of Studio Neil Druckmann announced the physical The Last of Us Complete Collector’s Edition, with pre-orders available now. This edition, priced at $109.99, includes additional collectibles such as a Steelbook case, game discs, The Last of Us: American Dreams comics 1 – 4, four lithographic art prints, and a heartfelt thank-you letter from Druckmann.

Druckmann expressed gratitude in his post, stating, “From our entire studio, thank you so much for your incredible support for The Last of Us and Naughty Dog over the years. This is such an exciting moment for both the franchise and our teams. We are so humbled by your personal stories of what the series has meant to you, have marveled at your incredible Photo Mode shots, and inspired to keep pushing ourselves forward to create more stories and worlds you’ll love.”

The Last of Us series, originally launched for the PS3 in 2013, has become a cornerstone of the PlayStation catalog despite facing criticism for its numerous re-releases and remasters. Joel and Ellie’s journey was first enhanced for the PS4 in 2014, followed by a complete remake for the PS5 in 2022. The Last of Us Part 2, which continued Ellie’s story, was released in 2020 and received its own remaster in early 2024. Both games have also been made available on PC, with The Last of Us Part 1 arriving in 2023 and The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered just last week.

The Last of Us Complete consolidates Naughty Dog’s post-apocalyptic saga into a single package, marking yet another re-release. While some might question the timing, it aligns perfectly with the premiere of HBO’s The Last of Us Season 2 this Sunday, following the recent greenlighting of Season 3.
