"Call of Duty Merch Shop Hints at Verdansk Return Next Week"

Exciting news for Call of Duty Warzone fans: the iconic Verdansk map is set to make a grand return on March 10, 2025. Activision had previously teased this comeback last August, hinting at a "spring 2025" release, but now we have a concrete date, thanks to a pop-up on the Call of Duty shop announcing "The Verdansk Collection" and featuring a countdown ending on March 10, 2025 (credit to InsiderGaming for the scoop).

This beloved map was replaced by Verdansk '84 in Season 3 and then entirely by Caldera in 2021. Currently, the only way to revisit Verdansk is through Call of Duty Warzone Mobile. This news overturns the 2021 statement that "current-day Verdansk is gone and it's not coming back," much to the delight of fans eager to see its return.

In other Call of Duty news, Call of Duty Black Ops 6 Season 2 is now live, introducing five new Multiplayer maps: Bounty, Dealership, Lifeline, Bullet, and Grind. It also brings back the fan-favorite Gun Game mode, along with new weapons and operators. The season also features a high-profile Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles crossover event. Meanwhile, Warzone has received fewer updates than planned as the development team focuses on crucial gameplay tuning, bug fixes, and quality-of-life enhancements to address the game's most pressing issues.
