The company encourages players to experience these improvements firsthand, noting that AFMF 2 can "deliver on average 28% lower latency at 4K using the Ray Tracing: Ultra graphics preset when compared to AFMF 1."

AMD has also broadened the compatibility and functionality of AFMF 2. The technology now supports borderless fullscreen modes when paired with AMD Radeon RX 7000 and Radeon 700M series graphics cards. Furthermore, AFMF 2 is compatible with games using Vulkan and OpenGL, enhancing animation smoothness.
