Hez2: A Thrilling Moroccan Card Game

Hez2 is a beloved Moroccan card game perfect for family fun. This classic, turn-based game supports 1 to 4 players. The goal? Get rid of all your cards!

Gameplay: On your turn, play a card matching the color/suit or number/rank of the card already on the table. If you can't match, draw a card from the deck. Even with a matching card, you can choose to draw instead.

Special Cards Add Excitement:

  • 2: Playing a two forces the next player to draw two cards. If they also have a two, they can choose to draw four, and so on, until a player without a two draws the accumulated total.
  • 7: The player who plays a seven gets to change the required suit/color for the next card played.
  • 10: Playing a ten means you get another turn immediately. If it's your last card, you must draw a card afterward.
  • 12: (3 or 4 player games only) Playing a twelve skips the next player's turn.

The game ends when a player plays their last card (with slight variations if it's a two or ten), and that player wins!

The Game's Setup:

Hez2 uses a 40-card deck with four suits:

  • 10 Copas (Tbaye9)
  • 10 Espadas (Syouf)
  • 10 Oros (D'hab)
  • 10 Bastos (Zrawéte)

Each suit contains cards numbered 1-7 and 10-12.
