Nintendo ha dado un paso significativo para descubrir la identidad detrás de la masiva fuga de Pokémon denominado "Freaklek" o "Teraleak" solicitando una citación de un tribunal de California. Si se otorga la citación, obligaría a Discord a revelar los datos personales del usuario conocido como "GameFreakout", incluido su nombre, dirección, número de teléfono y dirección de correo electrónico. Según los documentos judiciales reportados por Polygon, GameFreakout supuestamente publicó contenido de Pokémon protegido por derechos de autor, incluidas obras de arte, personajes, código fuente y otros materiales, a un servidor de discordia llamado "Freakleak" en octubre pasado.
