Enjoy this classic offline card game, Callbreak – no internet connection required!
This Callbreak card game is a timeless favorite, playable offline against friends or the AI. It's designed to be incredibly internet-friendly, minimizing data usage.
Known by various names globally (including Call Bridge, Lakhadi, Spades, and Racing), Callbreak boasts consistent core gameplay despite regional rule variations.
Callbreak Card Game Features:
- Offline play: No internet connection needed.
- Engaging Saga map: Progress through challenging levels.
- Intuitive interface: Enjoy smooth, user-friendly gameplay.
- Stunning visuals: Optimized for all devices.
Callbreak Gameplay:
Traditionally played by four players with a standard 52-card deck, cards rank A-K-Q-J-10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2 within each suit. Games typically consist of 3 or 5 rounds. A random card draw determines the first dealer, who then deals the cards clockwise. The player to the dealer's right leads the first trick.
Any card can initiate a trick; other players must follow suit if possible. If a player lacks the lead suit, they must play a spade (trump suit), provided it's high enough to beat existing spades.
Our offline version features a unique Saga mode, allowing players to conquer various levels and create their own legendary Callbreak journey.
Winning Callbreak:
The highest card in a trick wins, or the highest card of the lead suit if no spades are played. To succeed, a player must win at least the number of spades they bid; exceeding the bid adds to their score (with an additional 0.1 bonus for each extra spade won). Failing to meet the bid results in point deduction.
A round is redealt if: a) a player receives no spade cards; b) a player receives no face cards (J, Q, K, A).
Global Popularity:
Callbreak is hugely popular in Nepal, Bangladesh, Qatar, Kuwait, Sri Lanka, and India, and enjoys similar popularity in North America under the name "Spades," although Spades differs in game length, scoring, and bidding systems. Callbreak uses a fixed number of rounds, while Spades is based on a target score.
