Application Description

Ever dreamed of becoming a true artist?

Amaze your friends by effortlessly mastering artistic skills. Unlock your creative potential.

Artist's Eye is a practical tool that assists you in drawing or painting with real pens, pencils, paper, or canvas.

Select a reference image (like a photo) and, while you draw, observe your work through your phone or tablet's camera.

The model will appear semi-transparent over your ongoing artwork, guiding you in outlining shapes—similar to the classic camera lucida technique used for centuries (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Camera_lucida).

For best results, mount your phone on a stable stand so it remains steady, leaving both hands free to create.

This isn't cheating—it's a fresh approach to learning and honing your craft.

WATCH THE VIDEO TUTORIAL FOR GUIDANCE. Some lower ratings come from users who haven't grasped the app's proper use.

Tip: On newer Samsung and LG models without a menu button, press and hold the task-switcher button to access the menu.
