ArtClash is designed to help people build a daily habit of drawing, sketching, and cartooning.

This is a work in progress, with the first game ready to play, and more updates on the way.

You have the option to draw freely or select a topic (or a series of topics) along with optional challenges like a time limit, color restriction, or canvas size. Share your drawing and earn points when others guess it correctly!

This is a solo project created for my wife and me to practice daily—and to motivate others to do the same.

Known early access issues:

• Basic UI: The current Unity interface is limited, and we plan to replace it with a more responsive XAML-based UI

• On lower-end devices, we recommend using canvases smaller than 1024x1024. The GPU-accelerated brush engine experiences slowdowns with large canvases and small brushes. Testing in alternative engines is planned for performance improvements.

Upcoming features:

• More game modes (starting with a "telephone" drawing game)

• Enhanced social tools (custom avatars, comments on projects or finished games, friend lists, and follow options)

• Additional brush options (compatible with custom brush textures; users will be able to create and share their own)

• Advanced layer system (currently supports layer creation, with future support for transparency locking, masking, and more)

• Developer communication system: Submit feature requests, report bugs, or vote on upcoming changes

• Moderator roles: Users can be promoted to help review flagged content and resolve issues

• Topic and constraint submissions: Anyone can suggest new topics or challenges for moderated approval

• Long-term goals include full image editing, animation, scripting, and game or storyboard prototyping tools

Given performance limitations with large images and the current feature set, this app focuses on social competition and motivation rather than serving as a complete image editing suite at this time.
