Application Description

This app lets you play "Taiko-san Jiro 2" TJA files on your PC.

Important Note: The app includes only one sample song. You must manually add music data to your device's internal storage or SD card. Without score data, the game is unplayable.

Due to Android's enhanced security, the default TJA folder in the root directory, used in previous versions of Taiko Daijiro, is no longer accessible. This app addresses this change.

We apologize for any unanswered reviews. Please email us with any questions or feedback. Due to the wide variety of Android devices, we cannot test on all of them. We don't support devices that fail to launch; please close background tasks before starting the app.

We will not respond to inquiries about obtaining TJA files or skins.

Adding Songs:

Place your music files (.tja) in this folder: /Android/data/com.daijiro.taiko3/files/TJA

(Note: Due to security updates, TJA files from "Taiko-san Daijiro 2" are no longer directly accessible. Use a file manager to copy/move them.)

Download zip files directly into the "Taiko-san Daijiro 3" folder. Without a genre.ini file in your genre folders, songs will be categorized as "Uncategorized."

Adding Skins:

The app supports skins from "Taiko-san Jiro 2" (some may not be fully implemented). Skins from the original "Taiko-san Jiro" are not supported, nor are skins from "Taiko-sanjiro 2". Performance may decrease depending on your device and the skin used.

Support for TJAPlayer3 gimmick scores (HBSCROLL, JPOSSCROLL, SUDDEN, complex scroll). (Note: This differs from HBSCROLL in Jiro and Jiro 2.)

I was excited to try this app, but it's a letdown. It only comes with one sample song, and you have to manually add music data. The process is cumbersome, and without score data, it's not even playable. Needs a lot of improvement.

La aplicación tiene potencial, pero es frustrante tener que añadir manualmente las canciones. Solo viene con una canción de muestra, lo que limita mucho la experiencia. Si mejoran esto, podría ser una buena opción para los amantes del taiko.

J'étais enthousiaste à l'idée d'essayer cette application, mais c'est une déception. Elle ne contient qu'une seule chanson d'exemple, et il faut ajouter manuellement les données musicales. Le processus est fastidieux et sans données de score, le jeu n'est même pas jouable. Besoin de beaucoup d'améliorations.
