World of Warcraft Classic's Season of Discovery concludes with its seventh and final phase, launching January 28th. This highly anticipated update introduces the Karazhan Crypts dungeon and the challenging Scourge Invasions event.
A week later, on February 6th, guilds will face the legendary Naxxramas raid, featuring a new "Empower" difficulty mode for seasoned players.
Phase 7 arrives two months after Phase 6, which saw players battling in Silithus and facing the Ahn'qiraj raids. The mysterious Shadowy Figure, previously encountered in Ahn'qiraj, remains an enigma, its role in Phase 7 yet to be revealed.
The Karazhan Crypts, a 5-player dungeon located beneath the iconic Karazhan tower, will provide a new challenge. The Scourge Invasions will spread undead hordes across Kalimdor and the Eastern Kingdoms, offering new quests and rewards at Light's Hope Chapel. Players can collect Necrotic Runes to purchase consumables.
Rune Brokers in starting zones and capital cities will offer new runes. Naxxramas, accessible from February 6th, will present a formidable challenge, especially on the "Empower" difficulty. Conquering the four wings unlocks access to Sapphiron and Kel'thuzad in the Frostwyrm Lair.
While Season of Discovery ends, World of Warcraft Classic promises a busy 2025, with Blizzard's future plans for seasonal realms still unfolding.
