Studio Bitmap Bureau is bringing a retro-style side-scrolling beat 'em up based on the classic film Terminator 2: Judgment Day. While inspired by the iconic sequel, the game boasts original storylines and multiple endings, ensuring a fresh take on the familiar narrative. Key scenes from the movie will remain, however, providing a nostalgic experience for fans.
Players will control the T-800, Sarah Connor, and the now-adult John Connor, each offering a unique gameplay perspective. Take on the T-1000 as the Terminator or Sarah, or lead the resistance as John Connor.
The trailer features the franchise's iconic theme music and faithfully recreates beloved moments from Terminator 2 in a charming pixel art style. Beyond the main story, several arcade modes will provide additional replayability.
Prepare for battle! Terminator 2’s pixel-perfect side-scrolling adventure launches September 5th, 2025, on all current-gen consoles and PC.
