Mythical Island Release Date

The Mythical Island pack arrives in Pokémon TCG Pocket on December 17th at 1:00 AM Eastern Time – coinciding with the game's daily reset. This launch will also see the Genetic Apex set packs become available. While these packs are part of the A1 collection, it remains unclear if Pack Points can be used to acquire them.

Notable Mythical Island Cards

Over 80 new cards are joining the Pokémon TCG Pocket roster with Mythical Island, including the highly anticipated Mew Ex. While a base Mew card exists (a rare secret mission reward), Mew Ex promises to be a game-changer. Here's a sneak peek at some of the notable additions:

Revenge (1 Fighting, 1 Colorless Energy): If any of your Pokémon were Knocked Out by damage from an attack during your opponent’s last turn, this attack does 60 more damage. 40+ damage.

Blue (Trainer)During your opponent’s next turn, all of your Pokémon take -10 damage from attacks from your opponent’s Pokémon.
Leaf (Trainer)During this turn, the Retreat Cost of your Active Pokémon is 2 less.
