World of Tanks Blitz is getting a massive upgrade! This isn't a temporary skin or event; the entire game is being rebuilt using Unreal Engine 5.

The "Reforged" update promises a significant graphical overhaul, bringing the five-year-old title up to modern standards. The first ultra-test begins January 24th, offering players a sneak peek at revamped commanders, maps, and stunning visuals. Multiple test phases are planned over the coming weeks.

Beyond the visual improvements, Reforged includes updated physics and other technical enhancements, bringing the mobile version closer to its PC counterpart. Interested players can register for the exclusive first look via the newly launched official website.

Performance Considerations:

The UE5 transition presents a potential trade-off. While graphical fidelity improves, performance on lower-end devices might suffer. However, given the game's cross-platform nature, developers likely prioritized optimization for a wide range of hardware. Whether the visual enhancements outweigh any performance drawbacks remains to be seen.
