How To Study a Historical Display in The Sims 4 Blast From the Past Event

Week 2 of The Sims 4's Blast from the Past event is underway, presenting players with a captivating mystery. However, a seemingly simple task – studying a Historical Display – is proving problematic for some. This guide explains how to complete this objective and addresses common issues.

Locating a Historical Display:

The Week 2 quest requires studying a Historical Display within a museum. Experienced players will know their local museum's location. New players should consult their in-game map and look for the pillar icon denoting a museum. While several exist, the Municipal Museum in Willow Creek and The Future's Past in Oasis Springs are conveniently located near other event tasks.

Completing the Task:

Once inside a museum, interact with either a painting or sculpture (both qualify as Historical Displays). Selecting the item presents a "View" option. Successfully viewing the display will trigger the Emit icon, confirming quest completion.

Troubleshooting:

Many players report difficulties with the "View" option, often attributed to mods. If the button is unresponsive, consider temporarily disabling mods to see if this resolves the issue. If problems persist, try interacting with multiple displays in different museums.
