All Side Story Locations in Split Fiction

While Split Fiction boasts a linear co-op adventure, it cleverly incorporates numerous optional Side Stories. These aren't essential to the main plot, but they offer some of the game's most memorable moments, so let's explore how to find them all.

Finding All 12 Side Stories in Split Fiction

Chapters 2 through 5 each hide three Side Stories. Completing them all unlocks an achievement, so let's dive into their locations:

Chapter 2

Legend of the Sandfish: This Side Story appears naturally after completing the "Rush Hour" section. You can't miss it.
Farmlife: Located in the "Streets of Neon" section, after hopping a small barrier, before reaching the elevators on the left.
Mountain Hike: Found in "Big City Life," near the Port-A-Potties. Have Mio enter a Port-A-Potty, then use Zoe to throw her to the opposite ledge with a ladder. Have Mio drop the ladder for access.

Chapter 3

Train Heist: In "Lord Evergreen," on a ledge reachable via wall-running while navigating the water with a plank.
Gameshow: Located in "Walking Sticks of Doom," on a platform after a side-scrolling section; requires minor platforming.
Collapsing Star: Found in "Halls of Ice," on the main path through the palace; difficult to miss.

Chapter 4

Kites: At the end of the long tube in "Toxic Tumblers."
Moon Market: In "Test Chamber," on a left-hand ledge after the crane sequence; requires some platforming.
Notebook: The final Chapter 4 Side Story, in "Soaring Desperados," to the left of the giant wheel after acquiring the jetpack.

Chapter 5

Slopes of War: In "Water Temple," after solving the lever puzzle to the left of the golden balls after hatching your dragons.
Space Escape: Found in "Craft Temple," after defeating the dragon; requires launching Mio with her glide and Zoe's roll, then dropping a column for Zoe to climb.
Birthday Cake: The final Side Story, in "Treasure Temple," to the left after completing the soul puzzle.

Completing all 12 Side Stories automatically unlocks the "Bookworms" achievement in Split Fiction.
