Authore: NathanUpdate:Jun 20,2025

Star Wars Day has become a highlight of the year for fans, not just for its celebration of all things Star Wars, but also for the exciting new wave of toys and collectibles unveiled by top-tier companies like Hasbro, Sideshow, and Hot Toys. This year’s event was no exception, offering an impressive array of products that span a wide price range—from under $20 to well over $1,500. As any seasoned collector will tell you, building a Star Wars collection is as thrilling as it is expensive.

This year’s reveals included standout items such as Sideshow’s awe-inspiring Luke Skywalker Red 5 statue, Hasbro’s nostalgia-packed Episode III figures, and Hot Toys’ astonishingly detailed Jar Jar Binks figure. These are some of the most exciting collectibles to come out of Star Wars Day 2025.

Hot Toys delivered a spectacular lineup of 1:6 scale figures this year, including several major characters who had previously been absent from their catalog. The star of the show was undoubtedly the Jar Jar Binks figure—a surprisingly detailed and lifelike recreation of the controversial Gungan character. Whether you love him or loathe him, this figure captures every nuance with seamless arm joints and two swappable face sculpts, perfect for recreating his expressive on-screen moments.

In addition, Hot Toys addressed a long-standing gap in their Sequel Trilogy lineup with the release of Poe Dameron in his Resistance X-Wing pilot gear. Another exciting addition is Clone Commando Boss, continuing the popular Republic Commandos series. Meanwhile, the Star Wars Rebels-inspired animated line expands with a Darth Vader figure complementing the earlier Stormtrooper releases.

Hasbro continues to impress with new additions across both the 6-inch Black Series and the 3 3/4-inch Vintage Collection lines. Capitalizing on the 20th anniversary of Revenge of the Sith, they introduced new Black Series figures featuring packaging inspired by the original 2005 toy line. Among them are Aayla Secura and the menacing Magnaguard droid. For collectors of Imperial forces, a Rogue One-themed 2-pack offers both a Shoretrooper and Death Trooper.

On the Vintage Collection side, Hasbro teased two compelling multi-packs. The "Stormtroopers of the Empire 3-Pack" includes Snowtrooper, Scouttrooper, and Sandtrooper, while the "Cantina Adventure 4-Pack" brings together Hammerhead, Walrus Man, Greedo, and Snaggletooth—perfect companions for the recently crowdfunded Mos Eisley Cantina playset.

For lightsaber enthusiasts, a new ForceFX Elite saber modeled after Ezra Bridger’s weapon from Star Wars: Rebels is also in development.

Sideshow Collectibles brought their A-game this year, showcasing a diverse range of statues, collectible figures, and exclusive art prints. The crown jewel of their presentation was the Luke Skywalker: Red Five, Standing By Premium Format Figure. This massive 1:4 scale mixed-media statue depicts Luke in full X-Wing pilot gear ascending the ladder of his ship. What makes this piece truly unique—and notably more expensive—is the inclusion of a sculpted portion of the X-Wing suspended mid-air.

Sideshow is also expanding its 1:6 scale offerings through its "Scum and Villainy" line, which highlights lesser-seen alien characters. The latest wave features iconic denizens of Jabba’s Palace from Return of the Jedi, including Bib Fortuna, Klaatu, and Vizam.

Additionally, Sideshow showcased the latest 1:10 scale statue from Iron Studios—an appropriately downsized version of their popular 1:4 scale Darth Vader statue. Despite being smaller, this Empire Strikes Back-inspired version maintains the same level of detail and dramatic flair.
