Sprigaito to Star in Pokemon Go's 2025 Community Day

Pokémon Go's January 2025 Community Day event is set for January 5th, featuring the Grass-type Pokémon Sprigatito!

Get ready for the first Community Day of the new year! Pokémon Go has announced that the January 2025 event will be held on January 5th, spotlighting Sprigatito. From 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM local time, encounter rates for this Grass Cat Pokémon will be significantly boosted, alongside various other event bonuses.

This Community Day presents an excellent opportunity to catch plenty of Sprigatito. Evolving it to Floragato and then Meowscarada during the event (or within five hours afterward) will teach it the powerful Charged Attack, Frenzy Plant. It'll also permanently learn the Charged Attack, Flower Trick, making it a valuable addition to any team.

Several event bonuses will enhance your gameplay:

Triple Stardust and Double Candy for every Pokémon caught.
Trainers level 31 and above get double the chance of obtaining Candy XL.
Lure Modules and Incense will last three hours.
Stardust costs for trades are halved, with an extra Special Trade available.
