A new Sims game is in the works, and it's available now in Australia! While not the Sims 5 we've all been waiting for, The Sims Labs: Town Stories offers a taste of what's to come. This mobile simulation game, part of EA's Sims Labs initiative, serves as a testing ground for future franchise features.
Currently in its playtest phase, Town Stories blends classic Sims building with character-driven narratives. Players construct neighborhoods, guide residents on personal quests, manage careers, and uncover secrets within the town of Plumbrook.
Initial reactions have been mixed, with some critics expressing concerns about the graphics and potential for microtransactions. However, given its experimental nature, the visuals and gameplay mechanics may evolve significantly.
