The game is launching a special in-game scouting event called the Ohtani Selection, available until April 8th, showcasing a curated roster of elite MLB players handpicked by none other than series ambassador Shohei Ohtani.

As one of the most versatile and accomplished players in modern baseball, Ohtani brings his expertise to the selection process, choosing six standout athletes—three pitchers and three batters—from across the league’s top teams.

On the mound, the selected pitchers include Zac Gallen (Arizona Diamondbacks), Ryan Helsley (St. Louis Cardinals), and Tarik Skubal (Detroit Tigers)—each known for their dominant performances and strikeout prowess. Behind the plate and at the plate, the batters featured are Adley Rutschman (Baltimore Orioles), Mookie Betts (Los Angeles Dodgers), and Steven Kwan (Cleveland Guardians), all celebrated for their consistency, power, and defensive skill.
