However, today's offer, while not exactly budget-friendly, is one of the best deals I've seen for one of the finest TVs available. For a limited time, both Walmart and Amazon are offering the 83" LG Evo G3 Gallery Series 4K OLED Smart TV for under $2,700, complete with free delivery. To put this deal into perspective, the 2024 83" LG G4 TV is priced at a staggering $5,300. The Gallery Series represents the pinnacle of LG's OLED TV lineup and is widely considered among the best OLED TVs on the market.

The G3, which launched in 2023, is one generation behind the latest model (no "G5" TV has been released yet), but it remains superior to any other TV in LG's lineup—be it OLED or otherwise—with the sole exception of the 2024 G4 that succeeds it. The LG G-series OLED outperforms the C-series. Both feature an "Evo" panel that's brighter than traditional W-OLED TVs, but the G-series goes a step further with MLA (micro lens array) technology, which enhances brightness. This adds significantly to the TV's cost but elevates the image quality to match or even surpass that of Samsung's quantum dot OLED TVs.

Generally, OLED TVs are regarded as the best TVs available today. Compared to traditional LED LCD TVs, they provide superior image quality, deeper blacks, better contrast ratios, a wider color gamut, and ultra-fast response times. These advantages make OLED TVs the top choice for enjoying 4K HDR content in all its glory. LG's OLED TVs, in particular, have been on the market for years and have benefited from numerous generations of enhancements.
