*Rainbow Six Siege X*, currently in its closed beta phase, is set to launch widely in June 2025 for both console and PC players. Ubisoft touts this update as the most significant content overhaul in *Rainbow Six Siege* history. Among the new features in the closed beta is the Dual Front game mode, which pits teams of six against each other in larger, more chaotic battles.

In Dual Front mode, players will navigate larger maps, strategizing on which areas to attack or defend and completing objectives amidst the chaos. The *Siege X* update also promises revamped maps, a redesigned user interface, enhanced technical presentation, and an improved matchmaking system, particularly designed to support new players.

On March 13, 2025, Ubisoft unveiled the gameplay trailer for *Rainbow Six Siege X* to coincide with the start of its closed beta. To participate, players must link their Twitch and Ubisoft Connect accounts. Notably, you don't need to own *Rainbow Six Siege* to join the *Siege X* closed beta.

There are no plans announced yet for additional beta testing, including an open beta, before the full release of *Siege X* in June.
