Ubisoft Delays Rainbow Six Mobile and The Division Resurgence

Rainbow Six Mobile and Tom Clancy's The Division Resurgence, two highly anticipated mobile titles, have been delayed yet again. Ubisoft's recent financial report reveals both games will now launch after FY25 (meaning sometime in 2025, after April).

The delay, according to Ubisoft, is a strategic move to avoid intense competition within the already saturated tactical shooter market. The company aims to maximize the games' success by releasing them at a more opportune time. This decision comes despite the games reportedly being near completion.

The postponement is particularly frustrating given the anticipation surrounding these titles. However, Ubisoft's strategy focuses on optimizing key performance indicators (KPIs) within a highly competitive market, aiming for a strong initial launch rather than being overshadowed by other releases, such as Delta Force: Hawk Ops.

While fans will have to wait longer than expected, pre-registration for both games remains open. In the meantime, check out our list of the best and most anticipated mobile games of 2024 for alternative options.
