The simplest method is via the "Pray" option in the bottom right of your main screen, above your stats. Alternatively, access the "Activities" menu and locate "Pray." Prayer topics include: Fertility, General Happiness, Health, Love, and Wealth. Each prayer requires watching an ad for its effects to manifest. Fertility leads to pregnancy; general prayers yield random benefits (money, friendships); health prayers can cure diseases (useful for challenges like "Disco Inferno"); the effects of wealth and love prayers are less predictable and often minor.

Alternatively, you can "curse" the developers instead of praying. This introduces a negative consequence (losing a friend, illness), but sometimes yields unexpected positive results (e.g., receiving money).
