Pokémon GO's New Year's Celebration Returns! Get ready for festive fun from December 30th to January 1st, 2025!

This year's New Year's event in Pokémon GO brings back the annual tradition of holiday cheer. From December 30th to January 1st, trainers can enjoy special bonuses, unique Pokémon encounters, and plenty of ways to ring in the new year in style. This follows the December 21st-22nd Community Day event featuring returning Community Day Pokémon.

One exciting feature is the chance to earn a whopping 2,025 XP for every Excellent Throw! Immerse yourself in the festive atmosphere with celebratory decorations and dazzling fireworks illuminating the skies.

Expect increased encounters with special Pokémon! Keep an eye out for Jigglypuff with a ribbon, Hoothoot in a New Year's outfit, and a party-hat-wearing Wurmple. Shiny versions of these Pokémon may also appear!

Raids are also getting a festive makeover. One-star raids feature a snowflake-hat-wearing Pikachu, while three-star raids will challenge you with party-hat-donning Raticate and Wobbuffet. All three have boosted Shiny rates!
