PlayStation State of Play Announced for Tomorrow, February 12

Authore: EricUpdate:Feb 23,2025

Sony's PlayStation State of Play is set for tomorrow, February 12th, at 2 PM Pacific Time (5 PM Eastern, 10 PM UK). This 40+ minute broadcast, available in English and Japanese on PlayStation's YouTube and Twitch channels, promises a diverse lineup of games from global studios.

While specifics remain under wraps, anticipation is high for updates on several anticipated titles. The PlayStation Blog hints at "a creative and unique selection of exciting games," fueling speculation. Many hope for extended gameplay of Sucker Punch's Ghost of Tsushima, alongside a release date for Hideo Kojima's Death Stranding 2: On the Beach. Given last week's PlayStation Store leak, a reveal of Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater's release date trailer seems likely.

While news on Insomniac's Wolverine or Naughty Dog's Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet might be premature, other possibilities include: Phantom Blade Zero, an action RPG from S-Game; Bungie's Marathon; and Haven's Fairgames, both multiplayer shooters generating significant buzz following Sony's Concord acquisition.

March also marks the 10th anniversary of Bloodborne, adding another layer of intrigue. Could this State of Play hold a surprise announcement? Speculation even includes the possibility of Halo arriving on PlayStation consoles.
