How To Get Pawmi and Alolan Vulpix in Pokemon Sleep

Authore: SadieUpdate:Mar 17,2025

Get ready for a winter wonderland in Pokémon Sleep! This year's holiday event brings two adorable new Pokémon to your slumber party: Eevee in a Santa hat, plus Pawmi and Alolan Vulpix!

Pawmi and Alolan Vulpix's Pokémon Sleep Debut

Pawmi and Alolan Vulpix arrive during the December 2024 Holiday Dream Shard Research event, starting the week of December 23rd. This event boosts your chances of encountering these Pokémon, and yes, shiny versions will be available too! Expect extra bonuses to help you gather Dream Shards.

Pawmi appears from 3 PM on December 23rd on Greengrass Isle, Snowdrop Tundra, and Old Gold Power Plant. Its boosted appearance during the event makes this your best chance to catch one! Pawmi, Pawmo, and Pawmot are all Snoozing type Pokémon. Snoozing is a common sleep type, so you'll likely encounter them if you achieve this sleep style. A Balanced sleep type might also work, but your odds are lower. You can evolve Pawmi using Candies, but only wild encounters allow you to study their sleep styles.

Alolan Vulpix, also appearing from 3 PM on December 23rd, is a bit more elusive. It only appears on Snowdrop Tundra. Alolan Vulpix and Alolan Ninetails are Slumbering type Pokémon, requiring a deep, 8-hour sleep for the best chance of encounter. While a Balanced sleep type might also work, your chances are significantly lower.

To maximize your chances of catching both Alolan Vulpix and Pawmi, head to Snowdrop Tundra! Remember, Snowdrop Tundra has higher team requirements, so prepare your team beforehand.
