Nintendo and LEGO have teamed up to create some fantastic LEGO Nintendo sets. Last year alone saw the release of the amazing interactive Mario and Yoshi set, and the very first LEGO Legend of Zelda set. While these are fantastic, the possibilities extend far beyond these initial offerings. Currently, the selection leans heavily towards various Mario sets (including Donkey Kong) and a good number of Animal Crossing sets. However, many other beloved Nintendo franchises remain untapped. As a LEGO and Nintendo fan, I'm eager to see more! What other Nintendo universe would you like to see transformed into LEGO bricks?
AnswerSee ResultsWhat Do You Think? With the upcoming Switch 2, excitement for the next generation of Nintendo is high. We can likely expect more LEGO Nintendo sets as Nintendo continues its investment in film (the new Mario movie and the eventual live-action Zelda adaptation) and upcoming Switch games. Which franchises do you think are most likely to get the LEGO treatment in 2025 and beyond? Share your thoughts in the comments!
Personally, I believe Metroid would be a fantastic choice for LEGO sets. With Metroid Prime 4 on the horizon, it's the perfect opportunity to create some truly awesome builds. Beyond that, I'd love to see official LEGO Pokémon sets, rather than the existing MEGA sets. However, given the licensing agreement between Mattel and The Pokémon Company, this might be less likely.
