Clash Royale has finally delivered a much-anticipated upgrade for the Inferno Dragon. After nearly a decade without an Evolution form, this iconic Legendary card receives a major power boost. Supercell marked the occasion by collaborating with Finnish comedian Ismo Leikola for a special announcement.
A Fiery Negotiation Takes Flight!
Nearly nine years after its debut, the Inferno Dragon stars in a new Clash Royale trailer featuring Ismo Leikola as its eccentric Hollywood agent, passionately arguing for the dragon's shot at stardom. The fiery creature playfully abandons its Clash Royale duties to chase Hollywood dreams.
The Inferno Dragon's Evolution brings significant gameplay changes. Unlike the original version that reset damage when switching targets, the evolved form maintains its escalating damage output for maximum impact.
Dragon Evolution Ignites New Season
The "How to Evolve Your Dragon!" season introduces the Inferno Dragon Evolution alongside the return of 2v2 League battles. Players can team up with friends or random partners to climb the competitive ladder.
Several limited-time events will showcase the new Evolution cards throughout June and early July, including special challenges with unique rewards:
- Inferno Dragon Evolution Draft (June 2-9)
- Inferno Dragon Challenge (June 6-9) offering exclusive Battle Banner and Emote
- Evolution Mayhem (June 9-16) allowing up to 4 Evolution Cards per deck
- Magical Trio (June 16-23)
- 4 Card Showdown (June 23-30)
- Evolution Bonanza (June 30-July 7) featuring decks with up to 8 Evolution Cards
Milestone rewards begin at Arena 7, with prizes including Lumberjack Evolution Shards, Epic Book of Cards, and exclusive cosmetics. Crown Chase events offer additional rewards through two phases of competitive play.
