Updated January 14th, 2025: Swap Packs significantly reduce the frustration of duplicate stickers. The ability to "swap" or "redraw" stickers (up to three times per pack) increases the chances of completing collections. This guide includes updated methods for obtaining Swap Packs.

How Do Swap Packs Work?

Swap Packs allow players to replace any sticker within the pack. This improves the odds of acquiring rare and valuable stickers, bringing players closer to completing their Monopoly GO album.

Each Swap Pack contains four stickers: typically one five-star, two four-star, and one three-star. Before claiming, players can swap any sticker for a random replacement of the same rarity. This is ideal for eliminating duplicates or undesirable stickers.

Swapping is random; there's no guarantee of a superior sticker. However, it provides more control over the sticker acquisition process. Remember, trading duplicates with friends remains a viable option.

How To Get More Swap Packs

Initially introduced as a milestone reward in Monopoly GO's first Peg-E Sticker Drop, Swap Packs are now obtainable through several avenues:

The Gold Vault

The Gold Vault, located in the Sticker for Rewards section, is the highest-tier reward. While previously costing 1,000 Stars, Scopely has reduced the price to 700 Stars. Stars are earned by collecting duplicate stickers (each duplicate, regardless of rarity, contributes Stars).

The Gold Vault can be accessed daily (once every 24 hours) and contains:

500 Dice
One Blue Sticker Pack (four stickers, one guaranteed 4-star)
One Purple Sticker Pack (six stickers, one guaranteed 5-star)
One Swap Pack

Minigames

Various minigames, including Peg-E games, Treasure Hunts, and Partner Events, sometimes offer Swap Packs as milestone rewards. Completing challenges or reaching specific milestones within these minigames increases the chances of obtaining Swap Packs. Active participation in all minigames is recommended.
