The Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Women’s Invitational (MWI) is set to make a thrilling return to Riyadh in July 2025, following an unforgettable finish at the 2024 Esports World Cup. Last year, Smart Omega Empress achieved a historic upset by defeating the long-reigning champions, Team Vitality, in the Grand Final, breaking their impressive three-year, 24-tournament winning streak.

This year, the competition is fiercer than ever, with 16 elite all-women MLBB teams vying for supremacy and a record-breaking prize pool. The event, scheduled from July 15th to 19th, will commence with a double-elimination Group Stage involving all qualified teams. The top eight teams will then progress to a single-elimination playoff, battling for a share of the $550,000 prize pool and a $10,000 MVP bonus for the tournament's standout player.

ytQualifiers for MWI 2025 are drawing in top talent from around the world. Confirmed participants include DreamMax from the LATAM Qualifiers, CFU Serendipity from Queen Legends Season 1, NAVI MY from the MYSG Qualifier, and Falcons Vega MENA from the Carry1st Africa Cup. Additional spots will be filled through ongoing regional competitions such as BOG Season 1, Athena League, and Lady MVP Season 6, with further qualifiers from China, North America, Mekong, Mongolia, and Türkiye set to conclude soon.

MWI 2025 is a highlight of the broader Esports World Cup 2025, which features top clubs competing across various titles in a unique cross-game format. As defending champions, Smart Omega Empress will face stiff competition from global powerhouses, making their title defense anything but certain.
