Marvel Contest of Champions unleashes a spooky Halloween event, adding to its 10th-anniversary celebrations. This chilling update introduces new playable characters and thrilling challenges within the Battlerealm.
A Halloween Event to Die For
Prepare for frightfully fun gameplay with the addition of Scream and Jack O’ Lantern as new champions. Scream, the symbiote with a vendetta, and Jack O’ Lantern, with his terrifying ability to transform victims into jack-o'-lanterns, promise intense battles.
Players will team up with Jessica Jones to solve a dark mystery leading to a nightmarish carnival filled with animatronic horrors in the House of Horrors event. Simultaneously, Jack O’ Lantern's Bounty-full Hunt offers weekly gladiator-style challenges with multiple paths and rewards. This event runs from October 9th to November 6th.
Celebrating a Decade of Combat
The Halloween festivities coincide with Marvel Contest of Champions' 10th anniversary. Kabam is celebrating with ten major game reveals, starting with updated versions of Medusa and Purgatory.
The Deadpool’s Ultimate Multiplayer Bonanza introduces an Alliance Super Season with collaborative bounty missions. Venom-themed content, including the Venom: Last Dance event (October 21st to November 15th), further enhances the anniversary celebration. Anniversary Battlegrounds Season 22 is also live until October 30th, boasting new features focused on buffs and critical hits.
60 FPS Update on the Horizon
A significant improvement is the upcoming 60 FPS gameplay update, scheduled for November 4th, promising smoother, more fluid combat. Currently, the game is capped at 30 FPS.
