Makiatto in Girls' Frontline 2: Is She Worth the Pull?

Makiatto in Girls

Should you pull for Makiatto in Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium? The answer is largely yes, but with some important considerations.

Why Makiatto is Worth It:

Makiatto remains a top-tier single-target DPS unit, even in the established CN server. Her exceptional damage output makes her a valuable asset. However, she requires more manual control than some other units; she isn't ideal for fully automated gameplay. Her Freeze ability synergizes perfectly with Suomi, a top support character, making them a powerful team combination. Even outside of a Freeze team, Makiatto is a strong secondary DPS option.

Reasons to Skip Makiatto:

If you already have a strong roster, Makiatto might be less crucial. Specifically, if you’ve rerolled and secured Qiongjiu, Suomi, and Tololo, Makiatto may offer less of an upgrade than anticipated. While Tololo’s late-game performance is debated (with potential future buffs rumored), having her alongside Qiongjiu and support from Sharkry could render Makiatto redundant, at least initially. In this scenario, conserving Collapse Pieces for upcoming units like Vector and Klukay might be a more strategic approach. Unless you need to immediately bolster a second team for boss fights, Makiatto's impact on an already strong team might be minimal.

In short, Makiatto is a powerful addition, especially for players lacking a strong single-target DPS or those building a Freeze team with Suomi. However, players with established rosters including Qiongjiu and Tololo might prioritize other units. For more Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium insights, check out The Escapist.
